Rajasthan University’s affiliated Commerce College has announced its first cut-off list on Monday
JAIPUR: Rajasthan University’s affiliated Commerce College, Jaipur, has announced its first cut-off list on Monday for B.Com (Pass Course). There’s almost 10% gap in the cut-off for CBSE and RBSE board.

“It is a setback for CBSE students. Even, we are demotivated as students scoring such good percentage are still not able to get admissions. But this is what the system is and it cannot be changed,” said Rashmi Jain, vice-principal of Maharani’s College. She also said that, “Approximately, 70-80 CBSE students did not register after attending the counselling session as they got to know that they won’t be getting admissions.”

The percentile formula system has created a major problem for CBSE students. Eventually the number of students will further fall due to the belief that they will not able to secure admission in these colleges.

There were counselling sessions held throughout the time of registration. Many CBSE students attended counselling sessions and when they came to know that because of this percentile system, they won’t be getting admissions, they did not register themselves.
